How do you set the IP and subnet mask on different interfaces of a multilayer switch?

Click the switch > config > for each interface enter the ip address of the machine that utilizes each interface.

How do you enter simulation mode in Packet Tracer?

Click simulation mode on the bottom. > Click show all/none. > Filter for ICMP. > Hit the play button and watch the packets in motion.

How do you set which types of packets you want to see in Simulation Mode?

Use the edit filter buttons to edit what types of packets you want to see.
